Critical Infrastructure Protection and Planning
|
Northstar Imaging can meet your comprehensive needs in Critical Infrastructure Protection and Planning while maintaining the highest standards of security and confidentiality. We can produce aerial images for homeland security plans, disaster preparedness, response and recovery. High quality aerial photographs are powerful and effective communication tools useful to all partners in site security. Our service offers comprehensive oblique aerial imaging of a specific resource such as a public building, facility, plant, ect. Imaging can be produced in a 360 degree coverage every 30 degrees plus vertical for a total of 13 images. Images are very high resolution capable of resolving objects as small as 4" or 2" per pixel. This is significantly higher resolution than provided by most orthographic (vertical) surveys. A 360 degree oblique perspective provides comprehensive information on the resource that is not available in orthographic perspectives. This information is highly useful in critical infrastructure protection and planning as well as a resource in disaster preparedness, response and recovery activity. Site specific imaging assures customized coverage carefully designed to meet your planning and infrastructure requirements.
Northstar Imaging offers scheduled imagery updating on 6, 12 or 24 month cycle or as defined by the client. This assures time current imagery for all applications. Imagery can be organized in a data base to create historical reference for planning and analysis and to assure ready access for all real time applications. Oblique aerial imaging is a valuable tool that enables public safety professionals to better understand real time situations with an easy-to-use visual tool that provides critical and relevant information to quickly and more effectively plan and respond to any given situation. Northstar Imaging's founder served 13 years as a pilot and officer with the Air Force and the 193rd Tactical Electronic Warfare Group and maintained a top secret security clearance as a command post and plans officer. The National Plan for Research and Development In support of Critical Infrastructure Protection defines responsibilities in agriculture, and food, water, public health, emergency services, defense, information technology, telecommunications, energy, transportation, banking, finance, chemical, postal, shipping, national monuments, dams, government facilities, commercial facilities and nuclear reactors, materials and waste. Aerial imaging provided for critical infrastructure
protection and planning is produced using a secure work flow process. At the
direction of the client, digital files of site imaging can be secured
using 448 Bit Blowfish or AES at 256
bit encryption. Once files are received by the client, Northstar Imaging files
are deleted from hard drives using a DOD 5220.22-M shredding protocol. If film is the preferred medium, Northstar Imaging can provide medium and large format 4"x5" negatives for use in the engagement. This presents the option of stunning detail for planning, coordination and analysis. Still and video coverage of security exercises is also available to assist in scenario planning and exercise critiques. Call now for a detailed proposal.
