Private Commissions Aviation Photography
Northstar Imaging offers commissioned fine art photography of your privately owned aircraft or classic automobile. The airplane is a powerful symbol that has stirred the dreams and ambitions of men and women for 100 years. Classic aircraft created of passion, remain even more alluring today. They call us to understand their hold on us and their important contribution to the human experience. A private commission creating a fine art photographic essay of your privately owned aircraft or classic car is a compelling expression of the concept of the classic automobile as fine art. Prints from your personnel photo essay may be used as wall art in your home, office or business, as a coffee table album or as gifts to family, friends and business associates.
Commissioned automotive or aviation art starts with several hours of photography at your site, resulting in 100 to 300 high quality digital images. You will receive a CD with all of the master images. From this CD you will select twenty four images to be carefully retouched and prepared for reproduction as well as one 16x20 custom print. Additional prints, from 4x6 inches to 4x6 feet, may be produced from your master digital files. Northstar Imaging's art, especially in mural size, makes a stunning presentation that adds beauty and style to your home, business or office environment.
Signed and beautifully framed print sets are available for business applications. All prints are the finest quality photographs available and are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper. Various print options and fees may be viewed by clicking here
Northstar Imaging's commissioned art may include a racing environment, motorcycles, aircraft or other related transport theme. I also offer commercial and editorial automotive and aviation photography and will work with museums for documentation and media photography. Please call for a detailed proposal. The fee for a one day commission is $1,500.00 plus travel. A two day commission that includes a day of scouting locations and preparation is $2,500.00. If you require a formal studio shoot, the cost of studio space is additional. The artist is available to travel world wide for commissioned work. Your satisfaction is unconditionally guaranteed.
